A six-month-old male lion cub was found dead in Babravidi forest area in Veraval forest range of Junagadh district on Wednesday morning.

According to officials, the cub's body was sent to animal care centre at Sasan to ascertain cause of its death.

"The postmortem report said that it was a natural death,'' range forest officer, Veraval range, B V Padsala said.
