Body of one more lion found in Gujarat

Forest department found body of one more lion from the Gir forest today evening. Officers from the Bhavnagar office rushed to the spot in the Palitana area. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.

 

Series of killings and natural deaths in last two months has made the Forest Department and other government officers sit up. One one hand the authorities have started headcount of the lions to create awareness among people and mapping the location of lions and on the other it has started action to catch the culprits.
