Girnar mahant attacked by devotees
RAJKOT: A 60-year-old mahant of Jinabavani Madhi in Girnar jungle in Junagadh was attacked by two of his devotees with wooden sticks on Tuesday afternoon. Mahant Balramgiri Bapu was rushed to the civil hospital in Junagadh town where his condition is said to be stable.

"It is suspected that Bapu's two devotees attacked him with wooden sticks. Though the reason is not immediately known, we are waiting for his condition to become stable so that we can question him," S B Parmar, investigating officer at Bhavnath Taleti Police station said.
